Lee Jae-myung’s approval rating records 27%, Han dong-hun 9% and Oh Se-hoon 4%

Lee Jae-myung, Represented of the Democratic Party of Korea, ranked first in the survey on approval ratings for the next presidential candidate.
In the ruling party, Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon showed the highest approval rating, beating Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon.
In the poll of 1,000 voters over the age of 18 conducted by Gallup Korea from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, 27% of respondents picked Lee Jae-myung as the person who should become the next president.
It was followed by Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon with 9%, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo, and Ahn Cheol-soo with 4% each, former Representative Lee Joon-seok of the People Power Party with 3%, and former member of the National Assembly Yoo Seung-min and former Representative Lee Nak-yeon of the Democratic Party with 2% each.
By region, Lee recorded approval ratings of more than 20% except for Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do, which strongly support the ruling party. He recorded the highest approval rating of 35% in Gwangju and Jeolla-do province, followed by 33% in Incheon and Gyeonggi-do, 25% in Seoul and Chungcheong-do, and 23% in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do. The approval rating in Daegu and Gyeongbuk stood at only 13%. On the other hand, Han showed a 11% approval rating in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, while 10% in Seoul.
After being named for the first time in the previous survey with a 4% approval rating in June, Justice Minister Han had the highest approval rating in the ruling party, beating Mayor Oh. Mayor Oh, who recorded a 10% approval rating in June, fall to 4% this time.
